ECOForest Panama
Through EFF Grupo ECOS currently owns ECOForest Panama, a company which manages a concession granted by the State of Panama of approx. 7,000 Has adjacent to the Panama canal, of which 3,000 Has are teak plantation, and 4,000 Has is natural forest protection. The plantations are all FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) certificated. The trees planted are between 4 and 9 years old, and at this moment the company is in a pre-harvesting stage.
